"The Hum"

The Hum noise has been described in detail on the website, allowing people to become knowledgeable. The topic is both hidden and complex, and it needs to be revealed to help sufferers who are losing sleep or disturbed by a strange noise in their homes. Normal hearing levels typically end around 20 to 40Hz, but these noises are even lower than these levels and, as such, are Infrasonic sounds (infrasound). They are experienced in many ways, and because one doesn't recognise it, such as loud music, you attribute it to stress. Although this noise is experienced worldwide, when you sleep elsewhere, the noise disappears.

People may be disturbed in several ways by this noise, such as waking up in the morning and not feeling as though they have even slept, waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep, or lying in bed thinking about things that are usually unimportant. Often, you will feel better after going to the bathroom, and if the sound is not too intense, you may fall back to sleep.

Other experiences of the Hum can include feeling a vibration, hearing a very faint whirring or buzzing sound similar to a refrigerator, having an itchy or tingling sensation in the inner ear that cannot be scratched, or feeling physical tension. All of these and other experiences come to a halt when you go outside. The experiences may occur on a nightly basis or irregularly. Friday and Saturday nights may be worse. Your experiences depend on how loud or intense the sound or vibrations are, and this varies both by location and between people. When experienced regularly, it will deprive you of sleep and make you lethargic and lacking energy. It may cause back problems, muscle discomfort, and dulled thinking, and when extreme, coupled with pushing yourself, may lead to strokes or heart problems. The effects are not age-dependent so that a child may be affected just as an adult.

The research conducted and the blocking methods we have designed have evolved over many years, drawing on personal experiences.

How to improve your sleep and reduce the Hum.

We developed a prototype device which has reduced the vibration by up to 95%. The device is external and is attached to your bed. It is a passive device that requires no electricity or user input. Another device, installed under the mattress where you lie, is also effective.

When using these devices, we have found that the sound and the lethargy and fatigue caused by infrasound are reduced.

For example, if we consider the average person rates their energy levels normally at 90-100%, someone who is suffering from the Hum infrasound may state their energy levels are at 20%. They get up in the morning and, by 10 am, want to go back to bed, or remain energetic until 3 pm, and then crash.

We have experienced a significant change from 20% to 100% energy levels from the equipment, where endless energy is available and recuperating rest periods are unnecessary. Even if you do not recognise yourself as an infrasound sufferer, we believe that where the Hum is present, these devices will improve your daily productivity.
